Since about a year ago Bluetooth GPS devices stopped being functional black boxes and a certain element of design came in.

After the debut of Qstarz BT-Q818eXtreme, the industry has changed and it's proven our taste is no longer a "typical" plastic GPS Receiver. The shinning and glossy design with three flashing light will shine into your eye once you switch the power on.

Believe us, Qstarz BT-Q818eXtreme does not just come with a "bimbo" outlook, based on 51 Channels MTK (Mediatek) GPS module, it has "supreme sensitivity." Sometimes it doesn't even give you any restriction whether you are catching a bus ride, walking or even inside the MRT and amazingly, we are able to get some GPS signal inside our office too. That's how Qstarz BT-Q818eXtreme honoured so many IT/media award across Europe, America, UK, HK countries.

July 2008, the innovative creative team from Qstarz International Co., Ltd. have launched an advance version - BT-Q818 Extreme to show their creations. The new launched BT-Q818eXtreme includes a new USB GPS Mouse availability and a 5MHz mode which provides a 5x more motion updates and eve higher accuracy ability. This BT-Q818eXtreme is no longer just a Bluetooth GPS Receiver, with it's dual connection compatibility, BT-Q818eXtreme is now waive their hands for those laptop/light PC users for power-saving connection.

The Qstarz 818eXtreme is a reasonably small device (match-box alike) whilst it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand or even inside your pocket. It's two tone casing design with the indicator LEDs located in a raised pyramid on the front of the GPS.

Standard battery (Nokia BL-5C compatible) will last continuous 32 hours of navigation (7 hours more compare to it's younger brother - Qstarz BT-Q816). There is also a Household charger and car charger included as part of standard package. Amazing feature also includes "Smart Auto on-off" and we guess that's how Qstarz BT-Q818 stands out among the industry. 

It is our vision to provide better quality product to our clients and Qstarz BT-Q818 has been discontinued and replaced by BT-Q818eXtreme by the local distributor - Maka. The elder version of BT-Q818 would only be available on project basis and please do not feel hesitate to contact us for further queries.
